She was a volunteer for the American Cancer Society. Betty volunteered at the Berkshire Botanical Garden and the Bluebird House in Stockbridge, MA. She was a communicant of Trinity Episcopal Church, Lenox, MA. She worked as a secretary and in home health care. Frissell in 1952, she moved to the Berkshires, where she lived up until her death.īetty will be remembered as a devoted wife and mother. After marrying her late husband Charles E. Betty worked in the Account Management Department at Riegel Paper Corporation, New York, NY. After graduating from high school, Betty attended night school at Columbia University where she studied journalism. She was born in December 1922 in Liverpool, England and was raised in Brooklyn, New York. She is also survived by her grandsons, Colin Mackie of Becket, MA and Alex Pepicelli (Taylor) of Winthrop, MA. She is survived by her daughters, Joyce Frissell of Lee, MA, Nancy Frissell Spencer (Keith) of Becket, MA, and Evelyn Pepicelli (Warren) of North Easton, MA. Salmon of Brooklyn, New York and her sister Joyce, G. Betty is survived by her brother, Philip A. ![]() Betty was predeceased by her parents, Philip and Gladys Mary Kinnish-Salmon. Hilda “Betty” Beatrice Frissell (1922-2021) passed away at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, MA on Apsurrounded by her loving family after a short illness.
